A new alternative to the Chinchero Urquillos and Huayllabamba Walk in the best part of Cusco such as the Sacred Valley, we can visit beautiful places such as the city and archaeological center of Chinchero, then the towns of Urquillos and Huayllabamba. Chinchero is located north of the city of Cusco, 28 km away, at 3,754 meters above sea level (12,316 ft). Chinchero today shows us the mix of Inca and Colonial culture since it still preserves an archaeological center where you can see Inca residences, a large plaza, and many Inca platforms. Urquillos and Huallabamba are towns located in the sacred valley northeast of the city of Cusco. These towns’ main economic activity is the production of large-grain white corn that is exported abroad. Chinchero and Urquillos in Inca times were towns connected by an Inca trail ( Qhapaq Nan) that to this day exists in a large part of the Chinchero Urquillos and Huayllabamba trek. We will also pass through beautiful natural landscapes and have a panoramic view of this beautiful hidden valley.
